I saw a pale grey ibis nesting among the rubble this morning. The land has been so badly injured, so visciouly neglected and now birds are finding peace behind the fences.
As always in Moreland, residents are the last to know. Tandos has sold the site, to who I am yet to discover.

Today is the 150th day since the demolition permit issued by Moreland ocuncil was due to expire. Work continues on the site with no end in sight. The major issue currently is the destruction of Rodda Street by the heavy vehicle traffic into the site removing debris.

On August 23 2007 demolition commenced on the old Coburg High School building in accordance with the above permit. The permit stipulated that demolition must be completed within 28 days of commencement.
