I thank you for your latest e-mail, which seeks confirmation whether demolition works have been completed at the Coburg High site given that the concrete slab of the 1970’s buildings remains.
While the planning permit which allows demolition of this building does not contain any specific conditions in relation to removal of the slab from the site, Council Officers are following the matter up with the site owner so that the appointed Building Surveyor can issue a certificate of final inspection for the demolition works and no further breach of the Section 173 Agreement occurs.
